Business Model Validation SOPs
A product people love can still be a bad business. Business model validation checks that each customer brings in more than they cost to win and serve, and that the model holds as you grow. The 10 SOPs below start with the business model canvas and get more numeric from there: customer acquisition cost, customer lifetime value and full unit economics. A common benchmark for subscription businesses is a lifetime value at least three times the acquisition cost.

-
Unit Economics Validation SOP
A unit economics validation SOP: pick your unit, check revenue and variable costs against real invoices, and prove each customer earns more than they cost.
